A New Website for Ayelet Insurance & Finance: Brand, Admin System & Privacy Management

For Ayelet Insurance & Finance (ayelet-ins.com), an insurance and finance agency in Netanya led by Daniel Bashari, we designed a new logo and brand language, and built a website that replaced a previous WordPress site: quote wizards, a privacy and consent center, an SEO center and a full Hebrew admin panel.

01. BackgroundAn Agency That Needs a Website That Works for It

Ayelet Insurance & Finance is an insurance and finance agency in Netanya, led by Daniel Bashari, serving families and businesses with car, home, business, health and life insurance, as well as pensions and finance. The previous WordPress site no longer reflected the agency: an inconsistent design, plugin dependence and content that was hard to update. At the same time, Amendment 13 to Israel's Privacy Protection Law came into force, demanding order on the digital side too.

The Core Challenges:

  • No Visual Identity: the agency had no logo, and no design language connecting the website, documents and social channels.
  • Many Lines, a Short Path: seven insurance lines, eight insurers and forms for each. Visitors need to reach the right line and the right form in a few clicks.
  • Inquiries That Never Get Lost: every inquiry, from the contact form or a quote wizard, must reach the agency and be stored even when email is delayed.
  • Privacy Done Right: a site that collects personal details needs to log cookie consent and handle access and deletion requests in an orderly way.
  • Moving Without Losing Google: the old WordPress URLs had to keep leading to the right page.

02. ApproachFrom Brand to System

We started with the brand. We designed a new logo for Ayelet, an LA monogram with an arc that stands for protection, and derived a complete design language from it: a palette of navy, petrol and steel blue, the Assistant typeface, 60° diagonal lines echoing the logo, a brand book and a design system. On that foundation we designed every page of the site, and only then built the system.

The site runs on Laravel, with a block editor that lets the agency team update any page without touching code. Around it we built an admin panel with inquiries, quote wizards, a privacy center, an SEO center, user management and system tools. We also integrated Logicode's accessibility and cookie plugins, in a version written specifically for the site.

03. Brand in MotionA Logo That Builds Itself

There is no stock photo in the home page banner. Instead, a looping animation builds the logo we designed from its own geometry. The logo is made of two circles and lines at 60°, and the animation tells that story:

  • Construction lines: the circles and lines the emblem is built from are drawn, like a designer's blueprint.
  • Outline: the emblem's three parts, the diagonal stroke, the A and the arc, are traced in a thin line.
  • Strips at the brand angle: twelve strips slanted at 60° slide in from both sides and assemble the emblem.
  • Shine and protection waves: a flash of light sweeps the emblem, and waves ripple out of the arc like an umbrella spreading protection.
  • Exit: the strips keep moving and leave on the other side, the outline erases itself and the loop starts again.
  • Light and accessible: SVG and CSS only, no libraries and no video. Visitors who asked their device to reduce motion, or paused animations in the accessibility menu, see a static emblem.

Core System Components

Everything we built for Ayelet, from the site visitors see to the tools the agency uses every day.

Block Editor & Full Text Editor

14 block types, from banners and logo strips to forms and long documents. Drag to reorder, duplicate, hide, a full Hebrew text editor and preview, with the page's SEO settings on the same screen.

Quote Wizards

Step-by-step forms for car, home and health or life insurance, plus a form builder where the agency sets fields, steps, messages and recipients on its own.

Inquiry Management

Every inquiry is stored in the panel even when email is delayed: statuses, notes, filters, Excel export and resending by email.

Privacy Center

Access, correction, deletion and consent-withdrawal requests, with a 30-day countdown per request, a search for all data about a person, logged deletion and an automatic retention policy.

Cookie Consent Log

The cookie banner logs every decision with a consent ID and a masked IP. An admin can revoke a visitor's consent, and the banner will be shown to them again. Tracking code loads only after consent.

Analytics Without Cookies

Visitors, page views, top pages, devices, traffic sources and the inquiry conversion rate, measured by the site itself with no cookies and no outside service.

SEO Center

A score for every page, issue detection, bulk editing of titles and descriptions, an automatic sitemap and robots.txt, and InsuranceAgency structured data.

Leaving WordPress Without a Gap

Old WordPress URLs, .html URLs and URLs with index.php are 301-redirected to the right page, plus a redirects table the agency manages itself.

Logicode Accessibility & Privacy

A full accessibility menu, with an Alt+A keyboard shortcut, and a cookie banner. Both were adapted from Logicode's WordPress plugins to the Laravel site, with SVG icons and settings in the panel.

Users, Roles & Activity Log

Admins and content editors with different permissions, deactivation and password reset, and a log that records every action in the panel.

One-Click Maintenance Mode

A "Live / Maintenance" switch at the top of the panel. During maintenance, visitors see an animated "under construction" page with gears that drive each other, while signed-in admins keep seeing the site.

Backup & System Tools

One-click database backup, cache clearing, system updates and an error log, all from buttons in the panel, with no need to call a developer.

04. Under the HoodA System Written for the Agency's Needs

Beneath the interface is a system written for the agency's needs, not a ready-made theme with dozens of plugins.

  • Technology: Laravel 13 and Blade templates, with self-hosted TinyMCE, Chart.js and SortableJS in the panel.
  • Structured data: InsuranceAgency, FAQ, article and breadcrumb markup, so Google and AI engines understand what the agency offers.
  • No outside dependencies: the fonts, text editor and icons are hosted on the site itself, with no Google Fonts and no CDN.
  • Faithful to the design: every page was automatically compared to the structure of the approved design, so the live site looks exactly like it.
  • End-to-end tests: form submissions, cookie consent and its revocation, the accessibility menu and saving every content type in the panel.
  • Business details in one place: phone, address and opening hours are set once and update across the site, the call and WhatsApp buttons and the structured data.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why build an insurance agency site on Laravel instead of staying on WordPress?

When a site needs tools of its own, such as a privacy center, a consent log, quote wizards and cookie-free analytics, a custom system gives full control, speed and less dependence on plugins and their updates. It is not always the right call: for a simple brochure site WordPress still fits. For Ayelet, with plenty of content, inquiries and privacy requirements, a custom system was the right choice.

How does the system help with Amendment 13 to the Privacy Protection Law?

It logs every cookie consent, loads tracking code only after consent, and lets visitors submit an access, correction, deletion or consent-withdrawal request. The agency gets tools to handle each request: a 30-day countdown, a search for all data about that person, logged deletion and a retention policy. The system is a support tool, and the policy itself is best built together with a legal advisor.

How do you move off WordPress without losing Google rankings?

Map the old site's URLs and 301-redirect each one to the matching page, including URLs with index.php and .html. Add a sitemap, structured data and SEO tags for every page, and leave the agency a redirects table it manages itself.

Can the agency update the site on its own?

Yes. Every page is built from blocks that can be edited, dragged, duplicated and hidden, with a full Hebrew text editor and preview. Contact details such as phone, address and opening hours are updated in one place and change across the whole site.

Is the site accessible?

The site includes Logicode's accessibility menu, with text resizing, contrast modes, pausing animations and an Alt+A keyboard shortcut, plus an accessibility statement the agency edits from the panel. Animations on the site also stop for visitors who asked their device to reduce motion.

How do you start a project with Logicode?

You start with a short discovery meeting that defines the brand, the content and the tools the business needs, and from there you get a proposal and a work plan. You can reach us on WhatsApp or through the contact page.

A site that looks like the brand, speaks the customers' language and brings order to the side no one sees: inquiries, consents and privacy requests. The agency has full control over its content, and visitors have a short path from a question to a quote.
The Impact

What matters on an insurance agency website?

An insurance agency presents many lines of cover and many insurers, and visitors want to reach the right quote in a few clicks. An insurance agency website is therefore built around a short path: step-by-step quote wizards for car, home and health or life, and a form builder that the agency edits itself. Every enquiry is saved in the panel, so it is not lost even when email is delayed. We build this as part of custom web development, and for unique business logic as part of advanced systems development.

The sensitive side is privacy and migration. An agency holds personal data, so it needs a consent log, orderly handling of access and deletion requests, and accessibility built with Logicode’s accessibility and cookie plugins. Migrating from WordPress requires URL mapping and 301 redirects so that rankings are not lost. Well-run hosting and security can be added as well. The identity created for the agency is described in the Ayelet Insurance branding page, and to get started contact us.
