Employing field teams, project managers, and headquarters staff spread across dozens of active construction sites nationwide, the company faced a complex management challenge. Before implementing the system, attendance and payroll management was a cumbersome bureaucracy.

  • Manual, Decentralized Reporting: Field workers filled out printed timesheets. Many tended to 'round up' hours, creating unmonitored excess payroll costs.
  • Chasing Tax Forms: The payroll department had to physically chase dozens of employees to sign printed tax forms (101) which were often lost or illegible.
  • Complex Manual Calculations: Calculating overtime, holiday rates, and absences was done manually in complex Excel sheets, taking days and leading to numerous human errors.
  • No Real-Time Visibility: Managers had no way of knowing who was on-site or who was late in real-time, impairing daily work planning.

02. ApproachEnd-to-End System

Logicode's team conducted a rapid assessment and implemented the Just-In system, tailored specifically to the company's needs. The goal was to transition the organization to full digital management and reflect accurate, reliable data at the click of a button.

We guided the company through every step of the digital transition: from defining construction sites on the virtual map (Geofencing) and embedding company branding, to on-site training and dedicated support for field teams.

Core Solution Components

Smart Mobile Time Clock

Clocking in and out directly from the mobile phone with a clean interface. The system includes GPS verification ensuring the employee is actually within the defined construction site, eliminating false reports.

Fully Digital Tax Forms

Employees fill out their forms in the app and sign with a legally binding digital signature (Sign-on-Glass). The system instantly generates an official PDF saved in the employee's file.

Secure Digital Employee File

All information centralized in one place: employment contracts, sick notes (which the employee photographs and uploads directly), vacation updates, and onboarding forms—all in a secure cloud environment.

Automated Payroll Engine

The system automatically calculates overtime, holiday, and weekend rates according to law and labor agreements. At month's end, an accurate report awaits the digital signature of the manager and employee.

Real-Time Admin Dashboard

An advanced portal displaying a live snapshot of organizational attendance (who is present, missing, or late) to allow project managers efficient, data-driven workflow planning.

What should an employee attendance system include for a business with many work sites?
